Can I Cancel My EasyJet Flight?
Yes, you can but most easyJet flights are non-refundable. They do offer a FLEXI fare, but this costs significantly more than the standard ticket. Unless you have paid for a FLEXI ticket, you won’t be able to get your money back on a flight that you have to cancel.
What can you do, though, is sell your flight to someone else or amend your booking to suit your change in travel plans. If all you need to do is travel on a different day, you can book onto a different easyJet flight. However, if this still doesn’t fit into your circumstances, you are able to change the name of the passenger who is travelling, which means you can sell and transfer your original flight booking to someone else.
If you have made your booking within the last 24 hours, you will get a full refund minus a cancellation fee. However, it is only within this time frame that you will be able to get all of your money back directly from easyJet.

How Much Does It Cost To Change An Easyjet Flight?
Prices for each change made to a flight will vary based on the change you're making, the time of year, the time period before departure, and how you contact easyJet. Sounds a bit confusing, doesn't it?
Don't worry, you just need to break it down with four questions. The airline charges for changing your flight details will depend on how you answer each question:
What change do you need to make: date, time, or name?Name changes will cost a set fee of between £20 and £52, whilst changing the flight will cost a set fee of between £17 and £52 plus the fare difference between your original booking and the new one.
Is it off-peak or peak season?Peak season is 15 June - 1 September and the off-peak season is 2 September - 14 June.
How far in advance are you cancelling your flight?Making these changes 60 days or more before the departure date will be cheaper than if it is less than 60 days to the date of travel. For name changes, the fee is between £20 and £25 over 60 days before, and £47 to £52 less than 60 days before your flight. For flight date or time changes, the set fee is £17 to £22 regardless of the peak season if you're cancelling over 60 days before departure, whereas it is between £32 and £52 within the 60-day period because the season impacts the cost.
Are you going to make the change online or through the call centre? If you manage your booking online it is cheaper than doing so through the call centre. They add £5 to the booking change fee to cover admin costs as you'll be speaking to a real person at the other of the phone rather than using an automated system through the website.
Also, it's important to note that the easyJet cancellation fee is £27 to £32 if you cancel within 24 hours of making the booking. If it's outside of this time period, you won't get any money back on your non-refundable flight ticket.
Spelling mistakes and title changes for names are FREE.

Why Are EasyJet Flights Non-Refundable?
EasyJet is well-known for offering cheap flights to holiday destinations all over Europe and beyond - in fact, they reportedly fly to over 900 routes across more than 30 countries. Did you know they were named the Best Short-Haul Airline at the 2018 Business Travel Awards for the second year in a row? Their prices continue to drop and their deals seem too good to be true to keep up with the demand for budget travel.
Cheap flights mean their profit margins are smaller, which means they have to ensure they don't lose out on money if someone cancels last minute. They are trying to combat criticism about the strict rules for flight reservations by inviting their most frequent flyers to become part of the easyJet Flight Club, where they can get benefits you wouldn't usually get when booking a flight. The most relevant one to you if you're looking to cancel your flight reservation, is that you can make changes without being charged any fees or fare differences.
This might not seem fair, though, as it only applies to a select number of passengers. Unfortunately, as easyJet receive refund request for non-refundable flights all the time, they tend not to be lenient about their policy. This doesn't mean all is lost for you, though, as you can make a name change and sell your easyJet flight online.
