Old Town Square

The focal point of the entire city, the old town square is easily the most photographed area and it's not hard to see why. With its cobbled streets, gothic buildings and the gorgeous Church of Our Lady before Tyn, this place is postcard perfect from any angle and at any time of day.

TIP: if it's dark stand next to one of the many lamp posts dotted around the square and use the light from the lamp, instead of the light from your flash, to give an authentic vintage look to your snaps.

Prague Castle

The largest castle complex in the whole of Europe, you could spend a whole day at Prague castle and never get bored. It's white walls and red roofs show off its classic architecture and there are more windows, doors and towers than you could ever wish to discover.

TIP: Climb up one of the many towers or hills for incredible panoramic views of the entire city below - and go at sunset for an even better view!

Charles Bridge

With its gothic gargoyles and cobbled pavements, Charles bridge is one of the most famous bridges in the entire world and attracts thousands of tourists day in day out. This place looks incredible at any time of day, but at night time it looks even more special.

TIP: stand at one end of the bridge and angle your camera as high as you can to get a fantastic full length shot stretching as far down the bridge as possible.

John Lennon

Wall One of the more modern attractions to this city steeped in history, the John Lennon wall is in memory of the late, great musician who captured our hearts with his inspiring songs. The wall, and it's nearby pub of the same name, attracts a multitude of visitors year after year and is fast becoming one of the most popular tourist spots in the entire city.

TIP: take your own spray can to leave your very own mark on the John Lennon wall and get that all important selfie too.

St Vitus Cathedral

One of my favourite buildings in the whole of Prague, and part of the enormous castle complex, St Vitus Cathedral is certainly not to be missed. With its incredible architecture, beautiful stained glass windows and stunning altar, you'll get gorgeous photos of this place from every angle, especially when the sun is shining.

TIP: Walk to the far right of the courtyard in front of the cathedral for the best landscape shot you'll see!

So there we have it, these are just a few of Prague's picture perfect places, but with so much to see and do you won't be short of other wonderful landmarks to photograph during your trip. Take your selfie stick or your tripod and capture magical images time and time again here in beautiful Prague!
