Festival season is almost in full swing yippee! There are so many amazing artists to see and festivals are an amazing way of seeing more of your favourite bands together at the same location as well as have a great time with friends.
We know more than anyone that when plans change and things come up that sometimes it’s not as simple as just getting a refund. Most travel plans now are non-refundable and do not let you cancel without paying an administration fee. We also know that when you book a festival ticket that you have travel plans that have to get you to the festival. This might mean a hotel, a flight or train ticket.
If you have a non-refundable travel booking then you may be able to change the name on your travel booking. This means that you may be able to sell your hotel booking that you can’t use or your flight to get you to the Sasquatch music festival. When you sell your travel booking to someone else you will then have to contact your travel provider and ask them to change the name on your booking.
We always recommend contacting your travel provider before creating a new listing on TransferTravel. That way you can include the name change fee when you create your listing. Once your listing sells then you can simply contact your provider and they will do the name change for you. Hotel bookings mostly don’t require a fee to change the name on the booking, but some flights do.
Because buying your festival tickets and travel plans together is most common we are offering the opportunity to sell the two together! Setting up a listing is simple and easy. Firstly click sell on the top right hand corner of the TransferTravel homepage. There is a one page form that you can add your details of the trip to. You can add your festival tickets and accommodation to the form together – the dates and the locations etc.
