Holiday Inn Cancellation Policy

Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express is owned by the group IHG who also owned Candlewood suites. The hotel group has recently made a 24 hour cancellation policy. This comes after Marriott tightened their cancellation policy to a 48 hour policy. This policy for Holiday Inn means that you must cancel your booking 24 hours or more before you're due to check in to your reservation. They also offer non-refundable bookings which are less expensive but cannot be cancelled called advanced purchase where you pre-pay for the whole booking. Refundable Bookings



If you booked a refundable booking this means that you will be able to cancel your booking with 24 hours before your check in date and time. You can log in to your account and manage your booking to change the date or contact the hotel directly to get a refund or change your booking.

Non-Refundable Bookings



If you booked an advanced purchase booking and paid in full it may have been non-refundable. The best thing to do is to check with your hotel or manage your booking directly to see if you booking is non-refundable. Usually the non-refundable option is cheaper than the refundable option, which can be frustrating when you want to cancel and have a good reason but cannot.
