The Head of Marketing will manage digital and traditional marketing teams to maximise and increase the companies overall reach, engagement and sales conversions. The successful candidate will lead and manage the development of all day to day marketing activity along with supporting the requirements and needs of the UK and US partnership managers. Another key area will be the responsibility for all affiliate marketing for the group and support the complete programme internally and externally.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills and have held a similar role of this level. You will have an in depth knowledge of online marketing through acquisition, converting and monitoring the user journey through the whole sales cycle. Experience successfully planning and implementing strategic marketing through using historical data, industry trends and analytics is a must!

You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong commercial ethos who can guide and develop the marketing output of the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and deliver the planned digital and traditional marketing plan across multiple audiences and channels
  • Manage and support the affiliate network providing strategy and content where and when required
  • Oversee and lead the content strategy for all lead generation, education/brand awareness and conversion activity
  • Create content marketing programmes that reach new audiences and connect with existing ones
  • Develop and adapt the customer engagement journey with continually adapting and developing key touch points to ensure a strong conversion rate
  • Working closely with the US and UK Partnership Managers to provide and support their sales cycles
  • Results focused and able to demonstrate success through proven metrics and analytics
  • Experience of delivering data driven CRM activity based across a wide array of consumer markets to drive engagement and ultimately conversions
  • Demonstrating strong consumer, market and competitive focus working with senior management to continually develop and deliver the agreed marketing strategy
  • Build strategic and tactical partnerships to increase reach and awareness

We're looking for people who:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role implementing marketing strategy that has shown demonstrated measurable results
  • Proven leadership and staff management experience
  • Strategic thinker and data driven, but also a creative problem solver and innovator
  • High energy, enthusiastic and persistent personality

Nice-to-haves (but not necessary):

  • Previous experience in a Travel or technology startup

The Digital Marketing Executive will support the marketing departments digital marketing activity, to maximise and increase the companies overall reach, engagement and sales conversions.

You will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about digital marketing with experience in a similar role. You’ll have experience in contributing to the overall marketing strategy and online marketing campaigns. On a day to day basis you would be expected to create and implement engaging and effective social media campaigns to drive conversions. Create high quality content (articles, blogs, presentations) based on marketing objectives and company focus at a particular time. Monitor and report on marketing performance of campaigns and content. Building and maintaining relationships with creative agencies to ensure they deliver on time and to budget.

  • Experience of managing a companies social channels and developing innovative content
  • Develop and adapt the customer engagement journey with continually adapting and developing key touch points to ensure a strong conversion rate
  • Working closely with the US and UK Partnership Managers to provide and support their sales cycles
  • Experience of delivering data driven CRM activity based across a wide array of consumer markets to drive engagement and ultimately conversions

We're looking for people who:

  • Experience in a similar role implementing marketing strategy
  • Excellent creative writing and communication skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of Google Analytics and Adwords
  • Strategic thinker and data driven, but also a creative problem solver and innovator
  • High energy, enthusiastic and passionate about digital marketing
